A digital menu for Sharjah cafeterias, built around the car outside

A Sharjah cafeteria does much of its business through a car window. Cupcloud gives your shop a menu page in Arabic and English that customers open from a QR code or a link, and that takes car orders as seriously as table orders.

The car outside is your busiest table

Anyone who has run a cafeteria in Sharjah knows the routine: a car pulls up, a horn sounds, someone runs out, takes the order by memory and runs back. It works, until three cars arrive together and an order goes to the wrong window.

With Cupcloud the customer orders from the car on their own phone. They pick their items, give the plate number and emirate, and the order appears on your staff queue with a sound alert. Your runner walks out once, with the right order, to the right car. A QR code on a sign facing the parking spaces is enough to get customers started.

An Arabic-first menu, with English one tap away

Many Sharjah regulars would rather read the menu in Arabic. You can set your menu to open in Arabic first, laid out right to left in an Arabic typeface. The customer who prefers English switches with one tap.

You type the Arabic names yourself. Cupcloud does not translate automatically, so your karak, your sandwiches and your house juices keep the names your customers already call out from the car.

Karak, juices and a very long sandwich list

A cafeteria menu is long: hot drinks, fresh juices, shakes, sandwiches, snacks, and more besides. Cupcloud keeps it organised in categories, with sizes for the drinks and add-on options for the sandwiches. Photos are welcome where you have them, and not required where you do not.

When the avocado runs out or the fryer is off, mark the item unavailable and customers cannot order it until you switch it back. Prices are in AED, shown VAT-inclusive or with VAT added, as you set.

Al Nahda to Rolla: different streets, one queue

Sharjah's neighbourhoods do not order the same way. Around the towers of Al Nahda and Al Majaz, many orders go up to flats nearby. In Muwaileh and Nouf, with wider roads and newer housing, the car is the natural way to order. In Rolla, in the old centre, people walk in and order at the counter.

Cupcloud covers all of these on one menu: car orders, counter and takeaway orders taken by staff, table QR codes if you have seating, and delivery inside zones you draw on a map with your own fee for each. Everything lands on the same live queue.

Cash at the window, and no commission

Every café on Cupcloud takes cash today, which is how most cafeteria orders are paid anyway. Online card payment through your own payment gateway account is available on request. Cupcloud takes no commission per order and never holds your money.

Setup is done by hand by the Cupcloud team. Send a WhatsApp message and we take it from there. Cafeterias in Sharjah using Cupcloud are listed below when available.
